Shipping Policy

Effective Date: April 27, 2026

This Shipping Policy explains how Meow Green processes and delivers orders for our cat litter and litter box products. It applies to all customers worldwide, including those in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, France, and the United States.


1. Order Processing

Orders are processed on UK business days (Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays). We aim to dispatch all orders within 1–2 business days of payment being confirmed.

Please note that the Michu XXL Container Cat Litter Box is a large item and may require additional handling time before dispatch. We will notify you by email if any delay affects your order. During peak periods, processing times may be slightly longer.

You will receive an order confirmation email when your order is placed and a dispatch confirmation with tracking information once your order is on its way.


2. Packaging

We take care to package all orders securely:

  • Cat litter products are packed to protect the sealed bags or containers from damage during transit
  • The Michu XXL Container Cat Litter Box with Scoop is a large item and will be shipped in its original manufacturer's box, with additional protective outer packaging where required
  • We recommend inspecting the outer packaging on delivery, particularly for the litter box, and noting any damage with the carrier before signing where possible

3. Shipping Zones & Rates

All orders are dispatched from our UK fulfilment location. The following rates and estimated delivery times apply:

United Kingdom

  • Express (1–2 business days): £6.99
  • Standard (3–5 business days): £4.99
  • Free Standard Shipping on orders of £50.00 or over

European Union

Covering Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden (27 countries/regions in total).

  • Standard International (3–5 business days): £14.99

International

Covering the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Canada, and 10 additional countries/regions.

  • Standard International (3–5 business days): £23.99

Due to the size and weight of the Michu XXL Litter Box, shipping rates for this product are as listed above. We do not offer expedited international shipping for large items at this time.


4. Delivery Timeframes

All delivery timeframes are estimates from the date of dispatch and are not guaranteed. They may be affected by:

  • Carrier delays or industrial action
  • Customs clearance (for international orders — see Section 5)
  • Public holidays in the destination country
  • Severe weather or other events outside our control

If your order has not arrived within a reasonable period beyond the estimated window, please contact us at hello@meowgreen.co.uk and we will investigate with the carrier on your behalf.


5. Customs, Duties & Taxes

Orders shipped outside the United Kingdom may be subject to import duties, customs fees, and local taxes. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our product prices or shipping charges.

EU consumers: Following the UK's departure from the EU, orders to EU countries may be subject to import VAT and customs duties. The Michu XXL Litter Box and cat litter products may attract customs charges depending on their declared value and your country's import thresholds. We will always declare the accurate value of goods on customs documentation.

US consumers: Orders may be subject to US import duties. Current de minimis thresholds mean smaller cat litter orders may not attract duty, but larger orders or litter box products may. Please check current US Customs and Border Protection guidance.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing. We will always complete export documentation accurately and in compliance with all applicable laws.


6. Risk & Title

Risk of loss and title to goods passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. We recommend using a tracked service. For EU consumers, this clause does not affect your rights under EU consumer law if goods are lost or damaged before delivery to you.


7. Undeliverable Orders

If an order is returned as undeliverable — for example due to an incorrect address, failure to collect from a depot, or refusal of delivery — we will contact you to arrange redelivery. Additional shipping charges may apply. If we cannot arrange redelivery, we will refund the product cost less any shipping charges already incurred.

Please ensure your delivery address is accurate at checkout, particularly for larger items like the Michu XXL Litter Box where redelivery costs can be significant.


8. Order Tracking

A tracking number will be provided in your dispatch confirmation email for all orders. Tracking coverage may vary by carrier and destination country for international shipments.
