2. EU/UK Legal Notice

For consumers in the EU or UK, the following information is provided in compliance with applicable information requirements:

The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform is available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged to participate in ADR procedures but will give fair consideration to any complaint raised through this platform.
UK consumers may refer unresolved complaints to an appropriate UK alternative dispute resolution body.
In the event of a dispute, the applicable law will be the law of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in your country of residence.

3. Subscription Cancellation Policy

We may offer cat litter products on a subscription basis, giving you the convenience of automatic repeat deliveries so your cat never runs out.

How Subscriptions Work

Choose your preferred cat litter product, quantity, and delivery frequency at checkout
Your payment details are stored securely and you will be charged for each scheduled delivery
Some subscriptions may auto-renew at the end of their initial term — we will notify you by email in advance of any renewal
You will receive an order confirmation email before each dispatch

Cancelling or Modifying a Subscription

You may cancel or change your subscription at any time before the next scheduled dispatch, using the link in your order confirmation email or by contacting hello@meowgreen.co.uk
If a dispatch has already been processed when you request cancellation, that order cannot be stopped; please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for guidance on returning sealed, unused cat litter
We do not charge any cancellation fee

EU & UK consumers: Your statutory right to cancel a subscription within 14 days of entering into the agreement (or 14 days from receipt of the first delivery) is fully preserved. Please note that the hygiene exception applies to any cat litter packaging that has been opened or unsealed.

4. Pre-Order Policy

We may offer pre-orders for new cat litter variants or upcoming stock of the Michu XXL Container Cat Litter Box, allowing you to secure your purchase before it becomes available.

How Pre-Orders Work

At checkout, you may be charged no payment, a partial deposit, or the full price, depending on the product and availability
Where a deposit is taken, your payment method will be stored securely and any remaining balance charged when your order is fulfilled and dispatched
We will provide an estimated fulfilment date at the time of ordering, which is subject to change — we will notify you of any material change by email

Cancelling a Pre-Order

You may cancel any unfulfilled pre-order at any time and receive a full refund of any amounts paid
Once fulfilled and dispatched, a pre-order cannot be cancelled, but may be returned in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy (subject to the hygiene conditions applicable to cat litter)

5. Try Before You Buy

Where we offer a try before you buy option:

We will authorise (but not immediately charge) your payment method when your order is placed
You will have a clearly stated trial period to assess whether the product suits your cat's needs
If you wish to return the item, follow the return process in our Return & Refund Policy before the trial period expires — the litter box must be unused (no litter placed inside) and in its original packaging
If the item is not returned within the trial period, your payment method will be charged the full purchase price

Please note: try before you buy is not available for cat litter products, as these cannot be returned once opened for hygiene reasons.

6. Product Safety & Usage

All cat litter and litter box products sold by Meow Green are intended for use with domestic cats. Please observe the following:

Cat litter should be stored in a cool, dry place away from moisture. Follow any storage instructions on the packaging
The Michu XXL Container Cat Litter Box with Scoop should be assembled in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions provided in the box
Some cat litters may not be suitable for kittens under 12 weeks — please check product descriptions carefully
Dispose of used cat litter responsibly and in accordance with local waste regulations

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These policies are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer in the EU or another jurisdiction, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence.

8. Changes to These Policies

We may update these policies from time to time. The current version will always be published on our website. We will notify you of material changes in accordance with applicable law.
